1949 Immigrated with his family to Israel. Settled in Kiryat Ono.
1954-59 Joined Kibbutz Givat Haim under the auspices of Youth Aliyah who provided a grant for further studies in art.

First Prize, Youth Aliyah Graduate Artist.
1960
Private tuition with Shlomo Vitkin.
1960-85
Formal art studies with Professor Yoseph Schwartzmann in his Tel Aviv Atelier. Professor Schwartzmann came to Israel from the Berlin Academy of Arts in 1935. He died in 1985.
1962-65
Retoucher for DAVAR, Israeli Daily Newspaper.
Developed a unique programme for teaching emotionally disturbed children by using the techniques of the Ceramic Arts, guided by Educational Psychologist Professor Reuven Feuerstein.
1963-66
Founded and co-directed Kiryat Ono Theatre Group together with Izidor Hershkowitz of the Soviet Stanislavsky School.
1964-66
Studied Ceramics with Heidwig Grossman and Sculpture with Rudi Lehmann at their studio in Giva’atayim.
1965
Honour Prize, first international exhibition, Monte Carlo Bienalle.
1970
Bachelor of Arts with distinction, Goldsmiths College.
1972
Designed sets and costumes for the Ballet “Phases”, performed by Bat-Dor Ballet Co. in Israel; choreographed by Dommi Reiter.
1974
Taught Art at the University of London.
1977
Founded own Art School-Studio in London; continued to instruct in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics according to the philosophy of Professor Schwartzmann.
1985-88
Lectured in various Art Colleges in Great Britain.
1987
Founded Raviv Press, London.
1990
Received the Jesselson Award Prize for Judaica from the Israel Museum.
1992
Established the Foundation "Jerusalem - Stones in Verse" for collecting Poetry on Jerusalem from all over the world
2006
"Jerusalem - Names in Praise" launched at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem
